On Saturday, the gophers competed in the Mount. St. Mary's University IHSA Horse Show -- the first of the IHSA Zone IV Region I regular season. The gophers nabbed the Champion Team prize, with an impressive 47 points. Mount St. Mary's University and George Mason University were tied for Reserve Champion team, with 22 points each. Senior Joey Fink was also named Champion rider. Also competing in Region I: Georgetown, University of Maryland, University of Maryland, Baltimore County, George Washington University, St. Mary's College of Maryland, Towson University, and Hood College.

Alison Radgowski - 1st Intermediate fences
Clea Lerner - 2nd Novice flat
Maia Miller - 2nd Novice flat

Sarah Lummis - 1st Advanced Walk Trot Canter
Maring Eberlein - 1st Beginning Walk Trot Canter
Joel Brandis - 1st Walk Trot
