The Goucher Gophers traveled to the Towson University IHSA Show over the weekend, and continued their undefeated season with another win!
The victory led the Gophers to a whopping 95-point lead over second place George Washington University, and the remaining field of 11 Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania teams. With one regular season show remaining, the Gophers have clinched the Zone IV Region I title for the 2013-2014 season, by achieving a lead so large, that no team can mathematically catch them. (49 points is a perfect score.) They are headed as a team to Zone Finals at Hollins University to represent IHSA Zone IV Region I!
