The Goucher College Equestrian team traveled to the University of Maryland, College Park IHSA Show this weekend, and was champion team again at the show with 36 points. Senior Moriah Patashnik was named Reserve High Point Rider.
Individual highlights included:
Moriah Patashnik - 1st place Intermediate fences, 2nd place Novice flat
Laura Malone - 2nd place Intermediate flat, 2nd place Novice fences
Kaduk Sherpa - 2nd place Novice flat
Hannah Woodson - 1st place Advanced Walk Trot Canter
Joel Brandis - 1st place Walk Trot
Regional highlights:
Junior Laura Malone qualified for Regional Finals in Novice fences
Junior Joey Fink maintains his Cacchione Cup lead on 12-points in the Open Division
The Goucher Gophers will next compete at Towson University on March 9.
