The Goucher College Equestrian Team competed in their first IHSA show of the season on Sunday, and won a blue in every point rider class, finishing the day with a perfect score of 49!
George Washington University took the Reserve High Point Team ribbon, with a score of 29 points, leaving the Gophers with a 20-point lead going into the second show of the season!
Junior Joey Fink, sophomore Anna Carmichael and freshman Alison Radgowski all won both their fences and flat classes, and had to ride against each other in a three-way ride off for High Point rider at the end of the day. After the testing, Fink took home the prize, and Carmichael took home reserve.

Fanny Eaton - 1st place Beginning Walk Trot Canter
All blues for the Gophers!!! The Goucher Equestrian team competes next at the Mount St. Mary's University IHSA Show at Goucher on October 26.
