The Goucher Equestrian team competed at the University of Maryland IHSA horse show at Oatland Stables on Sunday, and walked away with an 18-point lead over second place regional team, Christopher Newport University.
University of Maryland won the individual IHSA show, with 39 points for the day, followed by University of Mary Washington with 35, and Goucher with 32.
Individual Highlights included:
Joey Fink - 1st place, Novice fences
Laura Malone - 1st place, Novice flat
Ashley Bent - 1st place, Novice flat
Kaili Janette - 2nd place, Walk Trot
Several of the Equestrian team members also qualified for Regional Championships this weekend!
Karli Postel - Open flat, Open fences
Addie Jabin - Intermediate flat, Intermediate fences
Joey Fink - Novice flat, Novice fences
