After clinching the Zone IV Champion title, the Goucher College Varsity Riding Team traveling to Raleigh, N.C. to compete in the IHSA National Championships. After four days of stiff competition, the Goucher team finished 7th amongst the nations most competitive riding teams.
Highlights included rising sophomore Joey Fink placing second in the Novice Cacchione Flat class, and rising Senior Karli Postel placing third in Open Cacchione Fences.
The team also won the first ever National Service award, for the annual fundraiser "Healing Hooves."
