Goucher wins; extends lead in Zone IV Region I to 56 points!


   The Goucher Equestrian team traveled to the home of Towson University Equestrian team this Sunday for the final competition of the fall semester.  The Goucher gophers won the meet, besting reserve champion College George Washington University by 10 points.

    Senior Joey Fink won both Open flat and Open Fences, and was named High Point rider for the day.  He now leads the Cacchione Cup Qualifier standings in Region I by 10 points.  Charts coming soon!

     This show at Towson concludes the Gophers regular fall season.  Standings for the regular season of IHSA Zone IV Region I are as follows:


    Over the winter break, Goucher will compete in the Tournament of Champions series, beginning with Ohio University's Holiday Tournament on December 6.  Goucher is currently leading the series, by winning the Pre-Season Classic Tournament that was held in September.  Stay tuned!!
