The Goucher Varsity Equestrian team traveled to Poolesville, MD on Saturday to compete in the third Zone IV Region I IHSA Show of the 2013-2014 season.
Goucher won the horse show, finishing the day with 43 points. George Washington University took the reserve champion team prize, with a total score of 32 points. Junior Joey Fink continued his success, receiving the Reserve High Point rider award again this weekend.
Individual highlights included:
Joey Fink - 1st place Open flat
Ashley Bent - 1st place Intermediate fences
Alison Radgowski - 1st place Intermediate flat
Laura Malone - 2nd place Novice fences
Kaduk Sherpa - 1st place Advanced Walk Trot Canter
Kaili Janette - 1st place Walk Trot
In the overall team standings, Goucher is now leading the Zone IV Region I with a whopping 45-point lead. Goucher Equestrian will next compete at the UMBC IHSA Horse show on November 16 at Goucher!
