Goucher places 6th out of 17 at Pre-Season Classic!


   The Goucher Varsity Riding Team hosted and competed in is first show of the season on Saturday.  The team finished 6th out of 17 highly competitive Intercollegiate Teams. 

     1st and 2nd place finishes included:

                 Karli Postel - Open Fences
                 Joey Fink - Intermediate Fences
                 Madi Tidwell - Walk Trot

    Congratulations to all the competitors and a BIG THANK YOU to all the riders who helped out.

   The team will compete in the 1st regular season IHSA show of the season on October 7 at home.  Come out and support the gophers!

    Congratulations everybody! I love reading these local stories about young equestrian success. The anythingequine.co.uk has some inspirational stories along the same lines, my kids are well on their way at becoming riders next summer!
